Britney Spees, LAC
You don’t have to carry it all alone.
The pressure to be everything to everyone can feel overwhelming—especially when anxiety, grief, self-doubt, or burnout are quietly simmering beneath the surface. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of motherhood, healing after a loss, or wrestling with perfectionism or past trauma, reaching out for support is an act of strength and courage.
Britney is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of Arkansas with a heartfelt commitment to walking alongside women, teens, and couples through life’s most vulnerable and meaningful transitions. She brings a deep understanding of both personal and collective healing into her work.
Britney earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Arkansas in 1999. In 2010, she co-founded a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting bereaved parents—an experience that continues to inform her compassionate, client-centered approach. Driven by a calling to offer more focused therapeutic support, she returned to school and received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University.
She has experience working with adults, couples, and teens in both private practice and school-based settings. Britney is a trauma-informed therapist with advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and she integrates somatic practices to help clients reconnect mind and body to release stored pain and foster emotional resilience. Her approach is warm, steady, and grounded in the belief that true healing unfolds within a safe and supportive relationship.
Whether you’re in the midst of grief, processing trauma, navigating a life transition, or simply seeking more ease in your daily life, Britney offers a calming, nonjudgmental space where you can begin your path toward healing.
Areas of Practice:
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.”
– Brene Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection
